At Stem Checker, we believe your audio data belongs to you. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use our macOS application.

1. Data Processing

All audio processing happens locally on your device. When you load audio files into Stem Checker, they are analyzed directly on your Mac using Apple's Core Audio and Accelerate frameworks. We do not upload your audio files to any external server unless you explicitly choose to use a third-party integration (like Dropbox).

2. Data Collection

We collect minimal, anonymous usage data to help us improve the application. This includes:

App crash reports
Performance metrics (e.g., render times)
Feature usage statistics

This data is aggregated and cannot be used to identify you or your specific audio content.

3. Third-Party Services

Dropbox: If you use the Dropbox integration, you will authenticate directly with Dropbox. We store your access token securely in your device's Keychain. We do not have access to your Dropbox credentials.
