Frequently Asked Questions

Stem Checker is available for free on the Mac App Store. Visit our homepage and click 'Download' or search for 'Stem Checker' in the Mac App Store. You'll need macOS 14 or later.

Stem Checker supports all major audio formats including WAV, AIFF, MP3, FLAC, and AAC. We recommend using lossless formats (WAV/AIFF) for professional stem checking.

No! Our streaming architecture processes files of any size without loading them entirely into memory. You can check stems of any length or size.

Click 'Forgot Password' in the app login screen. You'll receive an email with a reset link that will open the app directly to the password reset screen.

Every download includes two free sessions with access to all features — no credit card required. After that, it's $3.99/month or $29.99 one-time for lifetime access, and the monthly plan starts with your first month free. Cancel the monthly subscription anytime.
